Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) is seeking a Senior Orthopaedic Physiotherapist for Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. The role focuses on orthopaedic and surgical patient care in inpatient, day surgery and outpatient settings, with some after-hours reviews after elective procedures.

The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership, supervise junior staff and students, and contribute to project implementations within a 20‑strong physiotherapy team.

Formación

• Must hold a tertiary physiotherapy qualification and current AHPRA registration.
• Strong clinical experience across orthopaedics, surgery, day surgery and fracture clinic.
• Experience delivering care via telehealth is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and teach others.

Responsabilidades

• Provide orthopaedic/surgical physiotherapy to inpatients and outpatients.
• Review patients following elective surgery after hours when required.
• Upskill colleagues through clinical mentoring.
• Supervise level ½ physiotherapists and physiotherapy students.
