Job summary

W3 Associates Pty is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations, oversee project delivery from design through to handover, and drive profitability.

Reporting to the General Manager and Board, you will take full P&L responsibility and steer strategic execution across engineering, procurement and delivery teams.

The role offers long-term career potential within an established Australian engineering business delivering water infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering, construction or infrastructure project delivery background is required.
• Demonstrated P&L and financial management capability.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and project delivery across the business.
• Own full P&L including budgets, forecasting, margins and commercial performance.
• Oversee projects from design through manufacture, installation, commissioning and handover.
• Lead and support internal engineering and project management teams.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure delivery is safe, on time and within budget.
• Drive operational efficiency, project controls and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with General Manager and Board to execute the broader strategy.
