Job summary

ERM is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to join our global team in Perth. You will provide open pit technical and project management support to complete mining studies, mine planning, Ore Reserve reporting, and due diligence studies.

The role requires 10+ years in mining or consulting, familiarity with JORC/NI 43-101, and ability to travel to mine sites. Strong software proficiency in Deswik, Datamine, Whittle and MineSched is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Mining Engineering or higher.
• AusIMM membership preferred.
• Ability to travel to mine sites.
• Experience in different commodities and international mining projects is desirable.
• Consulting experience in a similar role is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide open pit technical and project management expertise to complete mining studies, mine planning, Ore Reserve reporting, due diligence studies and operational reviews.
• Lead open pit mine planning and Ore Reserve reporting.
• Conduct due diligence studies and operational reviews.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across projects.
• Travel to mine sites as required.
