Job summary

Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to provide expert assessment and intervention for older adults across NRICH and OASIS units in Elizabeth Vale. You will supervise and mentor junior OT staff, contribute to service improvements, and work within a multidisciplinary team to optimise functional independence and safe discharge home.

This on-site role offers salary banding to $120k p.a.

Qualifications

• Registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
• Eligible for registration and eligible to practice in SA Health settings.
• Senior level experience in geriatrics or hospital environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert occupational therapy assessment and intervention for geriatric inpatients and outpatients.
• Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to junior OT staff and students.
• Contribute to service improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health colleagues to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care.
