Job summary

St Vincent's Health Australia invites applications for a Senior Occupational Therapist in the Chronic and Complex Care unit at Vincent’s Public Hospital, Sydney. The position is permanent part-time (19 hours per week) with pro-rata salary packaging benefits and a focus on high-quality patient care.

You will provide specialist OT advice, lead service development and supervise OT staff and students, while collaborating with NSW hospitals to improve outcomes and safety across the care pathway.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current AHPRA Occupational Therapy registration.
  • Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and home modification abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist Occupational Therapy advice to guide patient treatment across hospital services.
  • Lead planning, evaluation and continuous improvement of OT services with outcomes data.
  • Support multidisciplinary teams through supervision and mentoring of OT staff and students.
  • Ensure safe, high-quality patient care aligning with clinical practice standards.
