Eastern Health is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist – Grade 3 to join the Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) inpatient team at Peter James Centre, Burwood East. About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) inpatient team. In this rewarding role, you will provide evidence‑based occupational therapy assessments and interventions, supporting patients through complex clinical decision‑making and discharge planning to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Working with a diverse and engaging caseload, you will play a key role in supervising occupational therapists and students, while leading and contributing to quality improvement and research initiatives. As a senior member of the team, you will have leadership responsibilities and will collaborate closely with our highly supportive multidisciplinary allied health team to deliver exceptional, person‑centred care.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice).
