Job summary

SLR Vision Interface System is seeking a Senior Occupational Hygienist to lead and deliver occupational hygiene assessments in a Perth-based role. You will mentor staff, develop OH programs and manage client relationships across industries including oil, gas, mining and manufacturing.

The role requires postgraduate qualifications in occupational hygiene, 10+ years of experience, and full working rights in Australia. AIOH membership is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Post graduate qualifications in occupational hygiene and/or science.
• Full membership of the AIOH being well regarded or equivalent international OH certification.
• Ability to win new work through business development and have exceptional client management expertise.
• Demonstrated experience in providing occupational hygiene services across asbestos, chemical, physical and biological hazards in multiple industries.
• Development of occupational hygiene management and monitoring programs.
• Perform occupational hygiene assessments including statistical analysis of monitoring data.
• Excellent project management with ability to communicate with high level report writing.
• Full C Class Driving Licence.
• Ability to attend pre-employment mine site medicals including drug and alcohol.
• Full Working Rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to recognise, assess and control occupational health hazards to protect worker health.
• Collaborate with other regions and disciplines on projects and submissions.
• Identify regional marketing and business development opportunities across industries.
• Support business development to grow teams and performance metrics.
• Ensure efficient project management, utilisation and other success measures with the Technical Discipline Manager.
• Meet utilisation targets and deliverables while supporting the team.
• Manage projects, deliverables and client expectations.
• Mentor and develop staff within the team.
