Job summary

Sante Recruitment is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join a major NSW tertiary women's health service on a 12-month appointment. Full-time preferred; part-time considered for the right candidate.

You will provide senior consultant-level care with flexibility to balance obstetrics and gynaecology according to experience and departmental needs, within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with FRANZCOG or eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated consultant-level experience in obstetrics and/or gynaecology.
• Experience managing complex obstetric and/or gynaecological presentations.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills; interest in teaching and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior consultant-level obstetric and gynaecology care across a complex tertiary workload.
• Supervise registrars and junior medical staff and participate in on-call rosters.
• Contribute to teaching, supervision, governance, and service development.
• Tailor clinical practice across obstetrics and gynaecology based on experience and needs.
