Job summary

Adelaide University is seeking Senior Nursing Academics based at the Adelaide East Campus for a full-time, ongoing Teaching and Research (Balanced) Academic position in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. The role involves development, delivery and coordination of courses across undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs, plus HDR supervision.

Qualifications

Current registration or eligibility as a Registered Nurse in Australia.
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent and relevant postgraduate qualifications including a Doctoral degree (PhD) in Nursing.
Demonstrated expertise and commitment to contemporary nursing practice.
Demonstrated senior academic experience teaching undergraduate, preregistration and postgraduate Nursing programs.
Demonstrated academic leadership and experience in curriculum development and course design.
Portfolio of research with external funding, publications, and HDR supervision.
Experience supervising HDR/PhD candidates to timely completion.
Experience in administration of university courses and understanding accreditation requirements.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop, deliver and coordinate courses within undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs.
Contribute to HDR supervision and nursing research activities.
Support teaching and learning strategy and ensure program quality.
Engage with external stakeholders to meet accreditation and program standards.
