Job summary

Qualifications

• Software development in mission critical IT projects, especially high availability systems.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft technologies (e.g. C# / .Net/ ASP.Net).
• Test tools (e.g.: SOAP UI, JIRA, Selenium).
• Strong technical skills: logic, UI, data modelling, workflow, clear specs/design.
• Experience with build and source control tools, automated builds/ deployments, unit testing.
• Ability to collaborate with team members and share knowledge.
• High degree of organization, coordination, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement analysis and development aligning with IT Strategy.
• Engage with business users to design systems and manage expectations.
• Analyse, design and develop software for major projects and releases.
• Participate in design meetings, peer reviews, and team discussions.
• Ensure reliable operation and service delivery through good design.
• Follow security, enterprise architecture principles, and development standards.
• Document and guide staff to deliver on time and on budget.
• Provide reporting to AEMO leadership on key issues and performance.
• Identify, report, and manage project risks.
