Job summary

Talent is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a large enterprise environment in Sydney on a 12-month contract. The role is hands-on, focused on building scalable APIs, integrating platforms and delivering new capabilities in a complex tech landscape.

You will design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices with C#/.NET, leverage AWS, work with SQL Server, and collaborate across architects, product owners and engineering teams to drive modernisation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with C# / .NET in enterprise systems is preferred.
• Banking/Financial services background required.
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with C# / .NET development.
• Proven experience designing and integrating REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong SQL Server development and optimisation skills.
• Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments, particularly across established applications, service domains and API ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns and Agile delivery.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
