Job summary

ALS is seeking a Senior Applications Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade cloud-native apps on Microsoft Azure. You’ll own components, contribute to architecture decisions, and work within an Agile/SAFe delivery team.

You’ll bring deep C#/.NET expertise, UI/UX sensibilities, and a proactive, quality-first mindset to collaborate with Product Owners, QAs, and BAs in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development with C# and .NET (Core / .NET 6+)
• Hands-on with Vue.js, Angular, or React; UI/UX skills advantageous
• Strong knowledge of Azure services including Functions, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Container Apps, AKS, App Insights
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures
• Proficient in SQL Server and MongoDB with performance focus
• CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Commitment to software quality and testing (TDD, automated tests; SonarQube)
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and responsible AI usage
• Agile environment familiarity; SAFe, PI Planning, Agile Release Trains desirable
• Strong communication and collaboration; ownership mindset

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade apps using C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+
• Build and support cloud-native solutions on Azure, including service configuration
• Develop modern UI using Vue.js, Angular, or React
• Design and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment via Azure DevOps
• Write automated tests—unit, integration, component, and E2E—emphasizing TDD
• Leverage AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot with quality standards
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions within Agile/SAFe
• Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, and QA in SAFe delivery
• Contribute to development standards and tooling improvements
