Reporting to the General Manager – Finance & Commercial, you'll play a key role in driving the company's commercial and contractual success across Mining, Civil, and Haulage projects.This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of diverse commercial operations while working within a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial function and provide strategic, expert guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Support contract delivery through timely, accurate commercial input and documentation.
• Provide expert advice on pricing of Mining contracts.
• Oversee procurement and commercial activities across all project stages – from pre-bid through to close-out.
• Oversee subcontractor engagement, due diligence, and performance oversight.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and project controls to ensure full commercial alignment.
• Contribute to the negotiation of subcontracts and purchase orders, ensuring all risk and compliance requirements are met.
• Lead commercial risk management across finance, estimating, and compliance domains.
• Support contract performance reviews and client reporting.

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (highly regarded).
• Proven commercial management experience with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple complex issues simultaneously.
• Experience in mining operations within Australia is preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the organisation.
