The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety and collaboration. This full-time role offers an 8/6 roster, mentoring opportunities, and a supportive work environment. Candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of gender, background, or experience level.
Invincible Underground is currently undergoing a significant growth phase with an ever‑expanding orebody open at both strike and depth. With complex geology, large‑scale capital projects and a dynamic mine design to adapt to, this role offers a rare challenge for candidates looking to make a difference and influence the future direction of a relatively new mine, in a rewarding environment.
At Gold Fields, we are dedicated to cultivating inclusive, high‑performing teams that embody our core values and fuel our success. If you have a passion for safety and technology and a drive to make a meaningful impact, we want you to join our innovative team as a Senior Engineer in Mine Production. Help us push boundaries and deliver excellence.
As part of this commitment, reporting to the Alternate Underground Manager, you will facilitate the safe and optimal extraction of gold from underground mining operations. In compliance with site Environmental and Safety Standards, you will be responsible for all mining aspects, including the development and implementation of plans in line with short to medium‑term planning targets.
This is an on‑site position with a roster of 8 days on 6 days off. Both residential and FIFO options are available.
