Job summary

Australian Microsoft Consultancy in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Microsoft Fabric Consultant to shape and deliver modern data solutions. The role blends hands-on Fabric work with customer-facing consultancy, supporting pre-sales and building reusable data capabilities.

You will contribute to shaping the practice, collaborate with a supportive team, and drive projects from discovery to implementation in a hybrid Brisbane-based environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience across Lakehouse, OneLake, pipelines and notebooks.
• Azure Data background with SQL and Python/PySpark; experience building reliable data pipelines and platforms.
• Consulting experience, including working directly with customers to understand requirements and recommend solutions.
• Confidence supporting technical pre-sales, from discovery and solution options through to scope and estimates.
• Initiative to take ownership, share knowledge and help build a growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Fabric-based data solutions for clients, integrating Azure data pipelines and notebooks.
• Engage with customers to understand business challenges and recommend scalable data architectures.
• Support pre-sales activities including discovery, scoping, estimates, and demonstrations.

The role

You’ll combine hands-on Microsoft Fabric and Azure data engineering with customer-facing consultancy: understanding business challenges, designing solutions and getting involved in the build. You’ll also support technical pre-sales through discovery, scoping, estimates and demonstrations, while helping develop reusable approaches and grow the consultancy’s data capability.
