Job summary

The Talent Initiative is seeking a Senior Metadata Officer to lead metadata development across high-value datasets. You will stay hands-on, drive consistency, and ensure metadata is fit for registration.

You will supervise metadata developers, engage SMEs and engineers, and coordinate with project contacts to track progress, coverage and risks while delivering clear, plain-English metadata for business and technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Strong ISO/IEC 11179 metadata registry experience.
• Knowledge of ONDC, National Archives or DCAT or ability to learn quickly.
• Proven leadership in metadata development and/or QA/data management.

A client of TTI is uplifting business metadata across high-value datasets (including AI-related work). They need a Senior Metadata Officer who can lead the workstream, stay hands-on, and get metadata to a consistent, “fit for registration” standard.
