CatholicCare Sydney is recruiting a Senior Mental Health Practitioner for its SPARK Child and Family Wellbeing Program in Sydney’s Inner West. You will deliver early intervention mental health services to children aged 5–11 and provide clinical support to a multidisciplinary team.

Join CatholicCare Sydney’s SPARK Child and Family Wellbeing Program in Sydney’s Inner West. As the Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you’ll provide early intervention therapeutic support to children aged 5–11 and their families, and clinical support to the multidisciplinary team.
The SPARK Child and Family Mental Health and Wellbeing Program is a PHN-funded initiative providing early intervention mental health and wellbeing support to children aged 5-11 years and their families.
The program delivers child-centred and family-focused support that promotes positive mental health, strengthens family relationships, builds parenting capacity and improves outcomes for children experiencing vulnerability or emerging wellbeing concerns.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the program provides coordinated and accessible support through community-based, home-based, school-based and office-based service delivery.
As the Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide specialist mental health assessment, intervention and therapeutic support to children aged 5-11 years and their families. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-informed psychological interventions that promote children's wellbeing, resilience, healthy development and family functioning. You will provide clinical supervision, consultation and practice guidance to multidisciplinary team members, supporting high-quality service delivery, reflective practice and positive outcomes for children and families.
