Job summary

Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) seeks a Senior Mental Health Clinician to deliver community-based assessments and interventions for young people in contact with the criminal justice system. The role involves collaboration with a highly specialised team to provide trauma-informed, person-centred care and coordinate services across health, justice and community systems.

The position is based in NSW with negotiable locations including Lismore, Grafton and the Northern

Qualifications

• Qualifications across OT, SW and psychology per award standards.
• Experience with complex mental health, psychosocial, forensic and behavioural presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based mental health assessment and intervention.
• Deliver trauma-informed, person-centred care and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Travel to metro and regional NSW sites to deliver in-reach services.

Education

Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy

Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Social Work

Four-year accredited psychology degree

Six-year accredited master’s degree in clinical/forensic psychology
