Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with Building Services experience to join our national Building Engineering team in Melbourne, VIC. You will contribute to multi-disciplinary projects across sports, defence, aviation, healthcare and data-centre sectors across Australia.

You will lead mechanical/HVAC design work, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across design reviews and project deliverables to ensure high-quality outcomes.

This role presents an excellent opportunity to develop your experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects across sports, defence, aviation, healthcare and data-centre projects across Australia.

How you’ll make a difference:

• Utilise your extensive mechanical/HVAC design experience to facilitate high-quality and cost-effective mechanical design work on a variety of projects varying in size, scope and sector.
• Lead mechanical designs and delivery for our major client projects including participating in the technical review of projects whilst working collaboratively with the broader team.
• Assist in the mentoring and guidance of junior engineers within the local and national team including performing quality control review of design calculations and drawings.
• Work effectively within our multi-disciplinary engineering teams on major projects including contributing to interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
