Job summary

St Mary’s Catholic College, Woree, Cairns QLD, is seeking a Senior Maths/Science Teacher. Commencing 18 January 2027 with options for earlier start. Full-time, permanent role with generous superannuation and leave provisions.

Applicants should have qualifications in Senior Mathematics (Specialist and Methods) and Physics and be eligible for QCT registration. Religious education teaching is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Qualifications and demonstrated teaching expertise in Senior Mathematics (Specialist and Methods) and Physics.
• Must be registered or eligible to be registered with Queensland College of Teachers.
• Be supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.
• Experience in teaching Science or Maths.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and planning.
