Job summary

AFCA is seeking a Manager, Communications & Engagement to lead the Stakeholder Engagement function, shape priority setting and oversee the quality of engagement work for senior leaders. You will drive executive briefs, speeches and key messages, ensuring clear stakeholder context, risks and outcomes across significant external engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience in stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, corporate affairs or related field.
• Proven ability to prepare executives for important conversations and manage complex stakeholder environments.
• Excellent writing skills and experience preparing briefs, speeches and messages for senior audiences.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop AFCA's Stakeholder Engagement function, setting priorities and ensuring quality.
• Oversee preparation for external engagements involving senior leaders including the Chief Ombudsman and CEO.
• Coordinate executive brief packs, speeches, messages and engagement materials.
• Develop enterprisewide stakeholder planning and consistent engagement standards.
• Transform stakeholder intelligence into practical insights for decision-makers.
