The Thompson Institute and UniSC invite applications for a Manager, Research Support. This full-time, 12-month fixed-term role leads strategic initiatives to strengthen research competitiveness, income and capability across TI/NPRC, reporting to the TI/NPRC Director.

You will identify opportunities, lead major grant applications, and build partnerships to enable long-term success for Australia’s leading mental health and trauma research institutes.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification completed or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to identify and attract national and international funding.
• Strong grants management and proposal development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic development of research performance and profile.
• Identify funding opportunities and pursue partnerships with local stakeholders.
• Develop sustainable researcher capability programs and improve grant success.
