Job summary

Henderson Healthcare is seeking a Senior Leader to head the Rehabilitation and Reintegration portfolio at Fulham Correctional Centre in Gippsland, VIC. The role oversees a ~35 FTE multidisciplinary team and shapes service delivery, governance and continuous improvement.

You will report to the General Manager, lead strategic direction, workforce development and integration across clinical, custodial and community services to advance rehabilitation and reintegration outcomes.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in health, psychology, criminology, social work, counselling, rehabilitation, community services or related human-services discipline.
• At least eight years of relevant leadership experience, including a minimum of three years in a senior management role.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary services in complex health, justice or rehabilitation environments.
• Experience managing service performance, budgets, resources, risk and outcomes.
• Strong judgement, integrity and emotional intelligence.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• A commitment to evidence-informed practice, rehabilitation and sustainable reintegration outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary portfolio of approximately 35 FTE through five direct reports.
• Establish clear direction, accountability and performance expectations across the portfolio.
• Coach and support functional leaders to build high-performing, collaborative teams.
• Integrate clinical services, assessment and transition, health and wellbeing, and faith and cultural programs.
• Strengthen collaboration between clinical, custodial, operational and professional teams.
• Oversee budgets, resource allocation, workforce performance and risk management.
• Monitor contractual obligations, KPIs, service delivery and quality standards.
• Lead business planning, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use research, evidence and specialist advice to support effective rehabilitation and reintegration outcomes.
• Provide strategic advice to the General Manager and contribute as an active member of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, community partners and external organisations.
