Job summary

The Department of Justice and Community Safety in Victoria seeks a Manager, Multi Agency Panel Secretariat to oversee the secretariat for the Multi Agency Panel within Corrections Victoria. The role focuses on high-level stakeholder management, policy coordination across agencies, and orderly governance of post-sentence supervision services.

You will lead a small team, shape operational policies, and strengthen inter-departmental collaboration to support risk-based programs and information

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of public administration and the operations of the Victorian criminal justice system.
• Extensive experience and sound judgement in managing service coordination within a highly complex area.
• Significant experience in the forensic health service sector and/or the criminal justice sector.
• Demonstrated experience in leading a small team.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and panel members across Victoria Police, Department of Health, Department of Families Fairness and Housing and Department of Justice and Community Safety.
• Provide authoritative advice to interdepartmental stakeholders in relation to the panel's functions and secretariat.
• Lead the development of operational policies and arrangements between the panel and partner agencies to enhance information sharing and coordination.
