A global mining company in Australia is seeking a Senior Manager Environment to lead its Australian environmental team, ensure alignment with sustainability strategies, and influence environmental performance across operations. Gold Fields is a globally diversified gold producer with nine operating mines in Australia, South Africa, Ghana, Peru, Canada and Chile. Gold Fields' mining assets in the Australia region include St Ives, Agnew, Granny Smith and Gruyere gold mines. With four of our ten operations located in Western Australia, this role plays a pivotal part in shaping environmental performance across one of the most important regions of our business.
About the Role
Reporting to the Vice President Environmental Performance, this influential role provides strategic oversight of environmental integration across Gold Fields' business processes, ensuring alignment with our 2035 targets, Environmental Standard, and sustainability strategy. You will lead the Australian Environmental Managers and Perth-based Specialists, guiding capability, consistency, assurance, and continuous improvement across four assets.

You are an experienced environmental leader who combines strong technical expertise with exceptional stakeholder and business integration skills. You work comfortably at strategic, operational, and systems levels and thrive in a complex, fast-moving environment.
