  • And Much More – These are just a few of the ways we invest in our people and help them thrive.

You’ll join a team where people work with integrity, inclusion, innovation, agility, collaboration and commitment. In practice, that means sharing ownership, solving complex problems together and staying connected to the customer context, the purpose behind the work and how each role contributes to meaningful outcomes.

The Opportunity

As a Data Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in enabling trusted, high‑quality data across the organisation by designing and delivering scalable integration solutions that connect systems, platforms, and business functions. Working closely with architects, engineers, analysts, and stakeholders, you will help ensure data is accessible, reliable, and fit for decision making.

  • Design, build, and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate data across enterprise applications, databases, cloud platforms, data warehouses, and analytics environments.
  • Develop reusable integration frameworks, transformation logic, validation processes, and monitoring capabilities that improve data quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Support the delivery of new business initiatives, system implementations, data migrations, and platform upgrades by providing secure and scalable integration solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical outcomes, while contributing to testing, automation, CI/CD practices, and continuous improvement of the data platform.
About You

You are a data integration professional who enjoys solving complex data challenges and delivering reliable solutions that help organisations make better decisions. You bring a practical approach to integration design, a focus on data quality, and the ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.

  • Experience in data integration, ETL/ELT development, data engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience working with SQL and relational databases, data warehouses, and/or data lake environments.
  • Experience using integration and data platform technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, AWS Glue, Informatica, Snowflake, SSIS, Talend, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar platforms.
  • Capability in developing integrations across APIs, web services, cloud platforms, databases, and common data formats including JSON, XML, CSV, Parquet, and Avro.
  • Knowledge of data transformation, mapping, validation, reconciliation, metadata, lineage, governance, and data quality practices.
  • Experience with cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience using programming or scripting languages such as Python, SQL, PySpark, Java, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of source control, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and secure data management principles including access controls, encryption, and privacy requirements.
  • Well‑developed analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders and translate business requirements into practical technical outcomes.
Advantageous
  • Experience with Apache Spark, dbt, Kafka, or other modern data transformation and event‑streaming technologies.
  • Knowledge of real‑time and event‑driven integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, cloud automation, and platform engineering practices.
  • Exposure to analytics and visualisation platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience working within Agile, DevOps, or ITIL delivery environments.
  • A degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
