Tungsten Mining is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join our finance team in Perth, Western Australia. This full-time role supports operational and strategic objectives through robust financial management, budgeting and cost control initiatives.

You will partner with operational leaders, project teams and corporate finance stakeholders to analyse performance, maintain controls, and contribute to continuous improvement across financial systems, processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• This role requires a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Solid experience in management accounting within a mining operation in Australia is essential.
• Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into practical commercial insights.
• Proactive problem solving and strong analytical capabilities are valued.
• Experience with stockpile valuations and rehab models is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders, project teams and corporate finance stakeholders.
• Prepare, review and deliver monthly management accounts and operational reports.
• Coordinate month-end processes including accruals, journals and reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain operating budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure reporting.
• Analyze actual results against budget and forecast, highlighting variances and risks.
