LHD Lawyers in Sydney is seeking a Senior Legal Secretary for the Workers Compensation team to support the supervising Solicitor with day-to-day operations of the personal injury practice.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Personal Injury Law, specialising in personal injury claims.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Strong typing and document drafting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Diary management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication with clients and team.

Responsibilities

• Practice management.
• Drafting correspondences, applications and pleadings.
• Preparing notice of claims, briefs.
• Scheduling appointments and conferences.
• Diary management.
• General administrative duties, organising and maintaining paper and electronic files.
• Liaise with clients, barristers, courts, doctors for information/ scheduling/ provision of information etc.
• Ensure workflows for matters are updated and maintained (under the supervision and instruction of a Solicitor).
• Actively assisting the team to ensure efficient work practices are maintained.
