Job summary

UNSW Kensington Campus in Sydney is seeking a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in the School of Risk & Actuarial Studies. The appointment can be at Level B or Level C, with a focus on research and teaching, and a competitive salary package.

The role requires a PhD in a related discipline, a strong research record, and the ability to contribute to teaching and HDR supervision. Visa sponsorship/relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• PhD in actuarial studies, risk and insurance, or similar field.
• Proven publication record in top journals.
• Experience in designing and delivering courses and supervising HDR students.
• Active involvement with industry/government partnerships is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Engage in independent or collaborative research and publish in leading journals.
• Deliver teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Supervise HDR students and mentor colleagues.
• Support and develop grant proposals and establish national collaborations.
