Qualifikationen

• PhD in Microelectronics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, VLSI Design, Electronic Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in microelectronics and electronic systems with strengths in IC design, VLSI systems, computer architecture, embedded systems, RF, sensing, photonics, communications, healthcare, quantum tech, or related fields.
• Expertise in analogue and mixed-signal IC design, digital and VLSI design, embedded systems, SoC architectures, with experience using industry-standard EDA tools.
• An established record of high-quality research outputs with international recognition.
• Proven success securing and managing competitive research funding.
• Evidence of high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, curriculum design, course coordination, and innovative assessment.
• Track record supervising Honours and HDR students to completion.
• Evidence of leadership, collaboration, and contributions to internal service, external engagement, industry partnerships, and professional activities.

Aufgaben

• Research: establish an internationally recognised program in microelectronics and attract external funding.
• Teaching: develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses across computer architecture, analogue and mixed-signal design, digital and VLSI design, embedded systems and related areas.
• Supervision: supervise HDR students and mentor staff and students.
• Citizenship: contribute to School, Faculty, and University service and external partnerships.
• Lead collaboration with industry partners and translational activities.
• Demonstrate leadership in responsible research conduct.
