The College of Science and Engineering is seeking a passionate Senior Lecturer to drive excellence in ICT teaching and learning at Flinders University. You take the lead in developing innovative, student‑centred curriculum and in delivering high-quality experiences, primarily in the online space that prepare graduates for the future of work. This is a teaching-focused role where you’ll shape course design, champion best practice in digital education, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
As a Teaching Specialist, you will:
Design and deliver inspiring ICT topics with a focus on online and technology‑enhanced learning.
Lead curriculum design, course coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide educational leadership and mentoring to colleagues, ensuring best practice in teaching and student success.
This position is open to international candidates and relocation and visa support is available.
You are an enthusiastic and innovative academic who brings deep expertise in ICT education and a strong commitment to student success. You have demonstrated leadership in curriculum design, online teaching, and educational innovation, with a genuine passion for creating impactful learning experiences.
You will also have:
A PhD or equivalent qualification in ICT or a related discipline.
Proven success in tertiary-level teaching and demonstrated leadership in curriculum development and coordination.
Tertiary qualifications in Education (Desirable).
