A leading local government authority in Tasmania is seeking a Senior Leader Infrastructure to provide strategic leadership for its City Infrastructure team. This role involves overseeing major projects, managing diverse teams, and ensuring strong financial stewardship. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a relevant tertiary qualification, along with experience in infrastructure delivery and project management. Reporting directly to the Executive Leader Community Asset and Design, the Senior Leader City Infrastructure at the City of Launceston will see you work closely with project managers, advisors and engineers who will be behind the design and delivery of major construction and civil works. It's a role that will suit someone who is more systems-oriented and can showcase how a collaborative approach can achieve success for any given project through seeking a range of viewpoints and approaches.
You will be a strategic thinker with a passion for achieving community outcomes. As a leader, you will be a dynamic and engaging communicator. You'll bring a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to infrastructure delivery, and drive continuous improvement of asset management practices.
It is a requirement for this role that you have a relevant tertiary qualification and an established career in infrastructure delivery, assets, project management or similar.
