Job summary

Clean Oil Services Pty Ltd in Caboolture, Queensland is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician for a full-time role overseeing laboratory operations and ensuring quality and efficiency. The role emphasizes handling diverse tests, equipment calibration, and strict regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will lead testing activities, mentor junior staff, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvements while upholding health, safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Laboratory Technician in the oil and lubrication industry
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant scientific discipline such as chemistry or engineering
• Demonstrated expertise in a wide range of laboratory testing procedures and techniques with instruments such as ICP, Titration, microscopy and other procedures

Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses to support lubrication industry clients
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results
• Document test results and procedures in accordance with company policies and regulations
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior laboratory staff
• Collaborate with the broader team to identify process improvements and implement solutions
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental protocols
