Job summary

The successful candidate will oversee calibration, QC, and instrument maintenance, while guiding junior staff and improving laboratory procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience as a laboratory scientist in clinical pathology.
• Experience supervising and training staff preferred.
• Membership with a relevant scientific body such as AIMS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train scientific and technical staff across Chemistry, Immunoassay, Haematology and Urinalysis.
• Oversee core lab operations, instrument maintenance and QC procedures.
• Ensure timely delivery of accurate test results and method verifications.
