Job summary

Binance is seeking a Senior Java Developer with Liferay knowledge for a fully remote role. The candidate should be fluent in English and able to work the European schedule. The position involves building and maintaining Liferay CMS solutions, multilingual sites, and integration with LDAP and Google search.

Responsibilities include developing portlets/modules, implementing themes/fragments, and collaborating with the team on ongoing tasks. Interviews will be via WEBEX; travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree or comparable through experience.
• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Angular, JSON, XML.
• Expert in Liferay CMS with migrations, themes/fragments, widgets and custom modules; search integration.

Responsibilities

• Create a utility to import content from OpenCms to Liferay DXP: static content, metadata, taxonomy, multilingual content.
• Create multilingual websites; Integrate LDAP; create users, groups, roles, and permissions.
• Develop Liferay custom modules (portlets, hooks) based on requirements.
• Integrate Google search.
• Provide daily updates and coordinate with team members.
• Other related tasks as required.
