Job summary

Christian College Geelong is seeking a Senior Technology Specialist – Systems Administrator to join the ICT team. The role focuses on administration, security, performance and continuous improvement of the College’s technology infrastructure, systems, cloud platforms and digital services.

You will lead infrastructure projects, manage enterprise systems, support cybersecurity initiatives, mentor staff, and provide expert advice to stakeholders across the College.

Qualifications

• Tertiary IT qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
• Extensive experience in a senior Systems Administration, Infrastructure or ICT Operations role.
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, server environments and enterprise networks.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining cybersecurity, backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Proven ability to deliver ICT projects and system improvements.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure projects and drive improvements across the technology stack.
• Manage enterprise systems, security, performance and reliability.
• Mentor team members and provide expert guidance to stakeholders.
• Act as deputy to the IT Manager when required.
