Job summary

Department for Education in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Industrial Relations Consultant (Enterprise Bargaining) to bring specialist knowledge in industrial relations and government policy to manage complex matters and assist with enterprise agreement negotiations.

You will work with leaders across People & Culture, advising on policy and supporting workforce initiatives within a 16-month contract while ensuring confidentiality and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Essential: Nil
• Desirable: A tertiary qualification in Law, Human Resources or other relevant area would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist knowledge in industrial relations, government policy, and departmental frameworks.
• Manage and resolve complex, sensitive industrial relations matters and disputes which may include representing the department in the SA Employment Tribunal, EO Commission and other forums.
• Support enterprise agreement negotiation processes and contribute to the development and implementation of strategic industrial relations policies and workforce initiatives.
