Job summary

Resolution Life Australasia is a leading life insurance and retirement business in Australasia. This role focuses on delivering high-quality fixed income research, manager selection and asset class analysis to support investment outcomes for over two million customers.

You will work with the Asset Class Portfolio Management team across a diversified portfolio, leveraging strong analytical and coding skills in Python or R to turn insights into action.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years' experience in investment markets with fixed income exposure.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Coding capability or interest in Python or R.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of fixed income opportunities.
• Support investment manager research and ongoing monitoring.

The Opportunity

You'll play a key role in delivering strong investment outcomes through high-quality fixed income research, manager selection, and asset class analysis, helping over two million customers live, save and retire with confidence.

How will you make an impact

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of fixed income investment opportunities.
• Support investment manager research and ongoing investment monitoring.
• Contribute to portfolio reporting and investment committee materials.
• Partner with the Asset Class Portfolio Management team to drive investment performance and continuous improvement.
• Help shape investment decisions across a growing and diversified portfolio.

About You

You're an investment professional who enjoys getting into the details, solving complex problems, and turning insights into action. You're naturally curious, commercially minded, and excited by the opportunity to work across a broad range of investment-related activities in a collaborative team environment.

You'll bring

• Around 5 years' experience in investment markets, ideally with fixed income exposure and duration management experience.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Coding capability or strong interest in tools such as Python or R.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach and passion for investments.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, science, engineering, investment management or a related discipline. CFA, CAIA, CIMA or progress towards these qualifications will be highly regarded.
