PX Resources in Sydney seeks a Senior Internal Audit & Analytics Specialist to lead risk-based audits and drive analytics-driven improvements across the business.

You'll build and maintain automated testing and continuous monitoring, leveraging Alteryx, Power BI and related tools, while collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen controls.

The role suits an experienced professional who can own end-to-end audit delivery in a lean, ASX-listed environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on internal audit with end-to-end delivery.
• Experience in data analytics and/or automation for audits.
• Strong judgement, critical thinking and clear writing.
• Able to work independently in a lean environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, resources, logistics or FMCG is beneficial.
• Exposure to Alteryx, Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, SAP or SOX advantageous; professional qualifications valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk-based audits from scoping to remediation follow-up.
• Review governance, processes and controls across operations, strategy, finance and compliance.
• Apply data analytics to improve audit coverage and derive insights.
• Develop audit analytics workflows, dashboards and automated tests (Alteryx, Power Suite).
• Prepare process maps, audit workpapers and reports with stakeholders.
• Contribute ideas to improve audit methodology and analytics capability.
