Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Incident Response Senior Consultant to deliver reactive and proactive services across the Asia Pacific and Japan region. This senior, hands‑on role requires strong technical skills and the ability to mentor junior staff while communicating with executives.

The ideal candidate has extensive incident response, forensics, and cyber security experience, with the capability to thrive in high‑stress environments and across multiple Australian remote locations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or managing incident response investigations.
• Background in forensics to determine extent of compromise.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and logs for analysis.
• Ability to craft remediation plans for targeted attacks.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence and attribution.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response engagements.
• Perform advanced host and/or network forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Advise organisations during threat actor activity.
• Produce high‑quality written/verbal reports and presentations.
• Present technical material to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrate thought leadership via blogs, CrowdCasts, and public speaking.
