Job summary

Planet Pharma, based in Australia, is seeking a Senior Method Development Scientist (Immunoassay) to lead development and transfer of LBAs for commercial bioanalysis projects. The role requires strong troubleshooting, client interaction, and collaboration with biopharma teams.

You will mentor junior staff, author ALMs, and ensure SOP-aligned workflows within GLP-regulated facilities, supporting growth across APAC, USA, and Europe. This is a full-time on-site role in South Australia.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience in a analytical/CRO or pharma setting.
• Hands-on analytical method development for LBAs.
• Familiarity with GLP/GCP and regulated bioanalytical labs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; highly organized.
• Ordinary degree in life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, optimization and transfer of LBAs (ELISA/MSD) per SOPs.
• Head up investigations, data interpretation, and troubleshooting when assays face hurdles.
• Coordinate handovers into the formal validation phase with Study Directors.
• Report statuses and resolutions to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Write/Review ALMs; mentor junior staff and maintain SOPs.
