Job summary

WesCEF seeks a Senior Identity Engineer to advance secure, modern identity and cloud solutions. You will report to the Cloud and Identity Manager and work across cloud and on-prem environments to modernise hybrid identity, strengthen access controls and automate processes.

You will drive MFA, Conditional Access, SSO and PIM integrations while supporting identity governance and cross-team collaboration across WesCEF locations in WA and nationally.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent hands-on production systems experience.
• Experience with identity platforms in complex/enterprise environments.
• Experience designing and supporting Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity solutions.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, Entra Connect and Cloud Sync is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of MFA, Conditional Access, SSO and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption, performance and reliability of identity and access platforms (Entra ID, AD).
• Develop and maintain automation for identity, cloud and collaboration tools (PowerShell, Graph, Azure, DevOps, GitHub).
• Implement modern authentication and access controls (MFA, CA, SSO, PIM).
• Support identity governance and lifecycle across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Assist enterprise applications and cloud identities and manage service principals and identities.
• Provide technical support across hybrid identities and Cloud Sync with vendors and internal teams.
• Lead root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and standards.
• Contribute to solution design and project delivery for identity/ cloud initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends to improve identity security and automation.
