Job summary

NDIA in Australia is seeking an APS6 Environment and Release Manager to coordinate detailed projects that support the NDIA's objectives to build a world-leading National Disability Insurance Scheme.

The role will support the program by providing a detailed technical implementation schedule and status reports, working with testing and engineering teams to define environment management, and ensuring release planning considers environment constraints.

Qualifications

• Must be able to coordinate complex release management activities across multiple applications.
• Experience liaising with IT and business stakeholders to align release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Support establishment and maintenance of Release Management processes with stakeholders and third parties.
• Coordinate release scheduling and management across applications and portfolios.
• Coordinate content reviews and refine backlogs for releases and environment updates.
• Develop and maintain the Release schedule balancing dependencies and business needs.
• Contribute to release management forums and go/no-go decision processes.
• Produce Release, Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans.
• Liaise with delivery partners and NDIA teams to implement systems.
• Work with release engineers to understand code branches and merges.
• Support ICT Change Management activities and release planning.
• Ensure ICT Change Processes are followed including cyber assessments and Go/No-Go gates.
