Job summary

CSIRO’s Information Management and Technology (IMT) team is seeking a Senior Project Manager to deliver strategic technology and digital initiatives. You will lead complex projects across CSIRO’s Data & Digital, Information, Technology & Platforms, and AI Roadmaps, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve meaningful organisational outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity in a collaborative, agile environment that values innovation, leadership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

5+ years of project management experience in the ICT sector.
Proven ability to deliver projects to scope, budget and schedule.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience transitioning new products or services to business‑as‑usual.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary, regionally dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage multiple, complex projects using agile, kanban or other suitable methodologies.
Deliver projects to scope, budget and schedule with mitigated risks.
Support and mentor team members to enable peak performance.
Identify and manage project risks and issues and escalate as needed.
Facilitate creation and review of project management deliverables and milestones.
Lead change management associated with project delivery.
Ensure smooth transition of new products or services into BAU.
