Job summary
Australian Gas Infrastructure Group is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer to support E C & I Asset Management and Stay-in-Business projects across AGIG assets. This senior role provides technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring safety, operational requirements, and compliance with engineering standards.
You will lead control system design for gas compressor packages, DCS/SCADA platforms, and PLC/HMI integrations, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance
Qualifications
- Bachelor level engineering degree in electrical/instrumentation/control/automation with relevant experience.
- Experience with gas compressor packages and associated control systems.
- Familiarity with DCS/SCADA platforms, PLCs and industrial networks.
Responsibilities
- Lead control system design and lifecycle engineering for AGIG assets.
- Support MoC, risk assessments and regulatory compliance.
- Develop technical specifications, design philosophies and IOE/SoW documents.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance and OEM vendors for safe delivery.
