Job summary

ElectraNet Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Protection Engineer to lead protection design for HV transmission and substation assets in Adelaide. You will drive technical assurance, mentor engineers, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role blends office-based work with field exposure, enabling hands-on delivery and meaningful contributions to major energy infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• You are an experienced protection engineering professional with HV transmission and secondary systems exposure.
• You will design, review and deliver protection systems for HV transmission and substations.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to mentor others across projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare protection system designs, scopes, specifications and settings.
• Review protection designs for compliance, quality and constructability.
• Provide technical assurance and sign-off on deliverables.
• Support commissioning and witnessing of protection systems.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across multiple projects.
