Job summary

Compass Group Australia is seeking a senior HSEQ leader to drive safety culture across a portfolio of remote FIFO sites. You will mentor site teams, embed robust HSEQ systems, and lead risk management, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will collaborate with operational leaders, support incident investigations, and deliver training to strengthen safety outcomes across the business. A hybrid Brisbane-based role with site travel is involved.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in HSEQ or related discipline with strong WHS knowledge.
• Experience supporting safe operations and embedding HSEQ standards across teams.
• Experience in FIFO, remote or multi-site environments with HSEQ programs.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills to drive safety performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level HSEQ leadership across remote FIFO sites.
• Coach and develop site managers to build HSEQ capability.
• Lead risk management and ensure hazards are controlled.
• Conduct investigations, root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Analyse HSEQ data to drive operational performance improvements.
• Engage clients and stakeholders and deliver training and toolbox talks.
