Job summary

Suburban Connect Careers is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to provide senior safety advisory support on Melbourne's SRL East tunnelling project. You will align with Safety Managers and Project Leadership to ensure effective delivery of safety objectives.

Lead investigations, mentor Safety Advisors, manage risk assessments and Safe Work Method Statements, and promote a One HSE culture across multiple fronts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Safety & Health experience in construction/heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of Safety & Health Management Systems and legislation.
• Ability to lead high-level investigations with multiple parties.

Responsibilities

• Plan and support safe execution of high-risk construction activities.
• Provide safety support and advice adhering to the Safety Management System.
• Lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Mentor Safety Advisors and support capability development.
• Review risk assessments and Safe Work Method Statements.
• Promote a One HSE culture across project fronts.
