Job summary

Freedom in Australia invites a Senior HR Business Partner to lead a small HR team, partnering with store and distribution centre leaders across Australia and New Zealand. This role reports to the GM People & Culture and shapes strategy, succession, workforce planning, and leadership capability while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You’ll tackle complex employee relations and industrial relations, drive performance and culture, and bring a hands-on, commercial perspective to decision-making.

Qualifications

• Significant HR generalist experience at senior leadership level.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Experience leading employee relations and industrial relations matters.
• Ability to partner with executives and translate people insights into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small HR team and partner with operational leaders across stores and DCs in AU/NZ.
• Manage complex ER/IR matters and workplace changes, including rostering and performance.
• Drive workforce planning, succession design, leadership capability, and data-led decisions.
