St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne in Fitzroy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician Grade 3 to join the Pharmacy Department. You will provide advanced aseptic services, support satellite pharmacy and dispensary operations, and work with autonomy within a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Certificate IV in Hospital Pharmacy/Health Services Support, or equivalent
• A minimum of three years’ full-time experience as a qualified hospital pharmacy technician
• Chemotherapy compounding experience is highly desirable
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• A current National Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain one

Responsabilidades

• Providing aseptic services, including chemotherapy compounding, biohazard sterile preparations and sterile manufacturing
• Supporting satellite pharmacy and dispensary services
• Managing imprest supplies, inventory and stock
• Supporting PBS claims and associated processes
• Working autonomously while collaborating closely with pharmacists and the broader Pharmacy team
• Contributing your experience and technical expertise to the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality pharmacy services
